Mika Niikko

Mr. Niikko has a background as a successful entrepreneur in construction equipment business since 1991. In year 2000, he gave up his full-time business to follow his long-term dream. He established a charity organization, “Hope Mission” in which he served as an executive director for ten years helping troubled young people.

Desire to develop youth services led Mr. Niikko to join politics in his home city Vantaa in 2008. In 2011, he got elected to Parliament of Finland at the first try. Nowadays, Mr. Niikko is known as an active parliamentarian in areas of youth and family politics, foreign trade, education, national security, third sector cooperation and development aid, amongst others.
